What information may be collected
Only a small amount of information is handled, and almost all of it is given deliberately by you.
- Newsletter and waitlist signups. Your email address, and any name or note you choose to include, together with which part of the site the signup came from.
- Conversation registrations. The details you submit when registering for a public Conversation, such as name and email address.
- Inquiry waitlist. The details you submit when asking to be told about The Circle or The Council.
- Advisory applications. The information you enter in the Advisory form, which may include your name, email address, context about your situation and what you are asking for.
- Administrator sign-in. For the private admin area only, authentication information associated with an authorised account, including the account email address and session data.
- Ordinary technical logs. Standard server and infrastructure records generated when a page or form is requested, which can include IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser or device information.
No advertising pixels, tracking cookies, analytics profiling or payment processing are used on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
03
Why it is used
Information is used for the purpose you gave it for, and for the ordinary operation of the site:
- to send occasional letters or updates you asked to receive;
- to register you for a Conversation and send the joining details;
- to keep you on a waitlist and tell you when The Circle or The Council opens;
- to read, consider and reply to an Advisory enquiry;
- to protect the private admin area and keep content management secure;
- to keep the site working, diagnose faults, and guard against abuse or misuse.
In plain terms, the operational and lawful bases relied on are your consent where you signed up, the steps necessary to respond to an enquiry or contract you initiated, and a legitimate interest in running a secure and functioning website.
04
Service providers
A small number of providers process information on the operator’s behalf, at a high level:
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting infrastructure used to store Advisory applications, site content and admin sign-in.
- GoHighLevel / LeadConnector — used, where applicable, to receive newsletter, waitlist and Conversation registration details.
- Transactional email infrastructure — used to deliver notification emails, such as an alert that an Advisory application has been submitted.
- Website hosting and delivery infrastructure — which produces the ordinary technical logs described above.
These providers are used to deliver the service. Your information is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising.
05
How long it is kept
Signup and waitlist details are kept while the list is active or until you ask to be removed. Conversation registrations are kept for as long as they are useful to run and follow up on those sessions. Advisory applications are kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record. Technical logs are kept only for short operational periods, as determined by the infrastructure providers.
Where information is no longer needed for these purposes, it is deleted or allowed to expire.
06
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used, including encrypted connections, access controls on the database, and restricting the admin area to specific authorised accounts. No website or service can promise absolute security, and nothing here should be read as a guarantee against every possible incident.
07
International processing
The providers named above operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored in countries outside the one you are in, including outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that happens, the intention is to rely on the safeguards and terms those providers make available for such transfers.
08
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to certain uses, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, write to admin@danielwagner.com. Every reasonable effort will be made to respond promptly. This policy describes current practice in good faith; it is not an absolute guarantee of compliance with the GDPR, UK GDPR or any other specific regime.
09
Children
This site and its work are intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, please write and it will be removed.
10
Links to other sites
Some pages link to external tools, media and platforms, including diagnostics hosted on their own addresses, podcast platforms and video or music services. Those services have their own privacy practices, which are outside this policy and outside the operator’s control.
11
Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as the site develops. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced separately.
